In the Friday Sermon of 20th March 2020, Huzoor (aba) advised that it was important for us to keep healthy. Exercise is an important part of keeping healthy. Here are some tips we thought would help:
1) Hazrat Mira Tahir Ahmad (ra) wrote a wonderful book about the Steps to Exercise and how it ties in with Islam
2) Children should be encouraged to go out for walks or jogs with their siblings. Fresh air is very important for one’s health and this will encourage children to create a bond with one another but parents should also explain the importance of social distancing to their children if they decide to exercise in a local park.
