7-9 Atfal Carers Scheme

The 7-9 Atfal Carers Scheme is organised to ensure that every tifl has the opportunity to engage in the Ijtema activities.

This scheme is exclusively for Atfal aged 7-9 who do not have any male guardian at the ijtema. As part of this scheme, the Tifl will be looked after by a responsible adult on:

• Friday from 4pm till 7pm
• Saturday from 9am till 7pm
• Sunday from 9am till 2.30pm.

We encourage fathers and guardians of Atfal to be on the Atfal side with younger Atfal. Wherever this is not possible, we will make arrangements for them to be looked after in the above mentioned timings. Please only signup if you wish for your child to be looked after as part of Atfal Carers Scheme.

We are excited to announce a Father & Son Competition at the National Atfal Ijtema this year! 🏆

📅 Date: Sunday, 21 September 2025

This fun activity includes various games and competitions for fathers and sons (or a child with an older male guardian). Please note, this is all about fun - no formal prizes.

Mission Impossible x Find my Akhi

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to go from checkpoint to checkpoint to find a secret word that will get you a token with a chance to win a free drink of your choice. To start your mission go to the first checkpoint which is just outside the Atfal Bazaar. Each of the checkpoints have a question with options to choose from. The letter corresponding to the correct answer is the letter that makes the secret word. Each checkpoint will give you the clue of where to go next. Once you have completed your secret word, come to the Atfal information desk to get a token. This token can be used at the Atfal Bazaar to win a free drink of your choice.

If you find another Tifl with the same number as written below (every number has a match), then come to the Atfal information desk to get a free doughnut! Every Atfal that finds their ‘Akhi’ will receive a free Krispy Kreme Doughnut. Both Atfal must be present to obtain the reward, which can be collected from the Atfal Information Desk.

Young Volunteers Scheme

Atfal will be assigned to various departments in which they will partake in duties during the timings shown above. The YVS (Young Volunteer Scheme) is only for Atfal aged between 14 and 15 years of age To sign up, follow the link below:
