This year some of the Talim competitions will be closed for only those Atfal that came top 3 in their regional Ijtema. The closed competitions are:

- Tilawat
- Nazm
- Azaan
- English prepared speech
- Regional Nazimeen will submit the names of Atfal who came top three in their regional Ijtema.
- The names of Atfal taking part in the national Ijtema closed competitions will be published on the Atfal Ijtema Talim section on Sunday 4th September 2022.
- Those Atfal who could not take part in their regional Ijtema competition for any valid reason (for instance due to an illness or being out of country etc.) can submit an audio recording for the relevant closed competition to their regional Nazim Atfal.
- The regional Nazim Atfal must submit all the audio recordings and the Atfal’s AIMS ID, name, age, and Qiadat, to [email protected]
- The regional Nazim must also submit the reason of why the Tifl could not take part in the regional Ijtema competition.
- The regional Nazim must submit all audios and relevant details of Atfal by 30 August 2022. NO AUDIOS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS POINT.
- Three Atfal from each age group for the competition will be selected from the submitted audios to take part in the national Ijtema.
- The Atfal who make it through to the national Ijtema will be informed by 3rd September if they have made it through.
- Those Atfal who already achieved 1st,2nd and 3rd position in the regional Ijtema do not need to submit any audio recordings.

- English extempore speech
- Urdu prepared speech (see rules in Syllabus files)
- Hifz-ul-Quran (see rules in Syllabus files)
- Hifz-e-Ahadith (see rules in Syllabus files)
- Hifz-e-Qaseedah. Rules are as follows:
- The test will be from the whole Qaseedah.
- Those Atfal from each age category who know the most portions of the Qaseedah will be given prizes.
- Talim Bingo (General knowledge individual Quiz)
- Observation Test
Khilafat Stories and Salat Quiz
- This quiz will be for 2 age categories. 7-11 and 12-15.
- 1 team for each age category is to be submitted per region.
- The Team Quiz will be based general knowledge and the following booklet: ENTER LINK FOR THE QUIZ BOOKLET
- Team members can be 4-5 per team.
- All regions must submit their team names by 25th of August.
Presentation Competition:
The presentation competition consists of Atfal speaking whilst presenting a presentation on screen to make their presentation interactive.
Topics for the presentation competition:
- Honouring our pledge
- Blessings of Khilafat
Marking scheme:
- 10 marks for content
- 10 marks for presentation and visuals
- 10 marks for fluency and fluidity.
Rules:
- 2 Atfal in each team.
- 1 or both Atfal can present.
- The presentation must be delivered within 2 minutes, otherwise the judges will cut you off.
- The competition will be for 2 separate age groups; 7-11 and 12-15.
- Both team members will need to be from the same age group and the same region.
- Presentations must be submitted to the following email at least 3 days before National Ijtema: [email protected]
- Location: Main Atfal Ijtema Gah
- Dates and timings:
- All teams, 7-11 and 12-15, from London Regions will be presenting on Friday between 5.30pm and 7.15pm
- Saturday 9.30am: Teams from regions outside of London, both 7-11 and 12-15, will be taking part on Saturday between 9.30am and 11.30am.
