Code of Conduct

Adhering to the Code of Conduct helps ensure a smooth, respectful and enriching experience for all Atfal in the Academy

Phones are not permitted at the academy. No Tifl should bring a phone with them.

In case of an emergency, a contact number will be provided for parents to be able to get in touch with their children.

⁠We expect the highest standards of behaviour at the Academy. Disruptive children will be removed from class and persistently disruptive children will be removed from the Academy.

Parents are expected to pick up and drop off their children and as such no space can be provided at the school for parents to stay on site for the duration of the Academy. 

On select days parents will be welcomed into the Academy e.g. End of term parents meeting.

What is Atfal Academy?

The Atfal Academy is a dedicated, structured learning and development initiative designed specifically for our Atfal. Our goal is to provide a highly engaging and supportive environment that nurtures their spiritual growth, moral training (Tarbiyyat), and physical well-being.

What Age Group is this for?

The Academy caters to all Atfal aged 7 to 15 years old. Students will be grouped appropriately based on their age and current religious knowledge to ensure they receive the most tailored and effective support.

Where is this Academy being located?

There are 3 Atfal Academics that are currently running. The details of their locations are as per below:

What are the timings and schedule for the Academy?

Classes run every Sunday 09:30 to 13:00. The dates for the Autumn/Winter term are as per below:

Baitus Subhan/South Region Atfal Academy: 11th October to 13th December
No Classes on: 25th October and 1st November

Muqami Atfal Academy: 6th September to 6th December 2026
No Classes on: 20th September, 27th September, 25th October and 1st November

Tahir Region Atfal Academy: 11th October to 13th December
No Classes on: 25th October and 1st November

We ask that parents drop off and collect their children promptly to ensure the sessions run smoothly

What will my son be educated on at this Academy?

We offer a comprehensive and interactive syllabus that goes beyond standard classroom learning. Core subjects include:

  • Core Beliefs and Theology
  • Langauages
  • History
  • Social Studies
  • Sports
What do I have to do to enrol my child?

Enrolling is simple. Parents must complete our online Pre-Admission Registration Form, which captures necessary baseline details and medical information. If you are registering more than one child, please complete a separate form for each Tifl. Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with final enrolment details and a payment link.

Is there a cost associated with the Academy.

Yes, there is a fee of £30 per tifl associated with the Academy. This cost will cover the complete Autumn/Winter term your child will be enrolled on. All funds collected are used exclusively to cover the cost of hiring the facilities, providing learning material, small refreshments, and other miscellaneous costs

Is there a uniform that is required?

Yes. We request that all students attend wearing the new Atfal Academy Gilet which will be made available to purchase on the Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyya shop online. The standard uniform, which consists of white shirt/polo shirt, black trousers, topi and a gilet with Academy logo must be worn by all attendees. This promotes a sense of unity and equality among the boys.
